Yoga Classes

All classes are available in the studio (maximum of 7 people) and online via Zoom.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is based on physical postures (asanas) deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. Hatha is translated as “Ha” (sun) and “tha” (moon) this refers to the unity of the two energies: the ‘masculine’ aspects of the sun – energetic and hot – and the ‘feminine’ aspect of the moon – calm and cool – which reside in all of us.

Candle Gazing Meditation

Known as Tratak, is a form of meditation promoting intense concentration. It is a wonderful practice for everyone and especially for the aspirant of meditation. Yogic gazing is a practice where the gaze is fixed on an object for some time and then that object is visualized clearly with the eyes closed as an inner image at the eyebrow centre.
